From First Cue to Final Bow: Parkchester Theatrical’s Summer Was One for the Books
Another summer is in the books for Parkchester Theatrical, packed with productions, events, and creative collaborations across the DFW area. We were proud to once again partner with our long-time friends at North Texas Performing Arts (NTPA) and the Jewish Community Center of Dallas (JCC Dallas), while also joining forces with Samantha Stratton for her debut cabaret with Voices for Good.
The season kicked off with NTPA Academy’s production of Shrek Jr., where our team provided sound design services. Shortly after, we supported the NTPA Academy Graduation Ceremony with full lighting, sound, and livestream capabilities.
We then shifted to the NTPA Collegiate Pursuits program, starting with the massive, immersive production of Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812. The Productionwas directed by Bethany Bourland and Kameron Knott and featured Choreography from Knott and Riley Madlock. This technically ambitious show featured bistro tables on stage, actors performing throughout the audience, and a 10-piece orchestra conducted by Scott Eckert. Parkchester Theatrical provided sound design and additional equipment, helping deliver eight sold-out performances.

Frozen Jr. – Lighting & Sound Design, QLab Integration (Camp Starquest)

Seussical Kids – Lighting & Sound Design (Camp Chai, second session)
Back at NTPA, we reunited with the Collegiate Pursuits team for Hadestown, once again providing sound design and equipment support.
